More than 50% of people are now using AI to get wellness advice, according to a new McKinsey report.
Still, about 40% of US consumers say they are not sure if they can really trust what AI tells them.
Even with all the tech options out there, friends and family, and health care professionals still far outweigh AI chatbots when it comes to shaping purchases.

The wellness industry is massive, worth $2.7 trillion globally and growing fast in the US.
Yet, around 40% of consumers globally said current wellness offerings still fall short, especially around longevity, mental health, and mobility.
