Nyne raises $5.3 million to build AI agents that know you
AI startup Nyne just scored $5.3 million in seed funding, led by Wischoff Ventures and South Park Commons, with support from investors like Gil Elbaz (co-founder of Applied Semantics and a pioneer of Google AdSense).
The money will boost Nyne's efforts to build an "intelligence layer" for AI agents that can scan public profiles on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, formerly Twitter, SoundCloud, and Strava.
AI agents will learn your interests and preferences
Nyne is rolling out millions of AI agents that gather data from these sites.
Using machine learning, the tech pieces together who you are and what you're into (think interests, hobbies, and preferences) so these AI agents can make purchases or schedule things for you automatically.
Meet the startup founders and their mission
Nyne was started by Michael Fanous (a UC Berkeley computer science graduate and former machine learning engineer) and his father Emad Fanous, a seasoned chief technology officer.
Michael says their mission is simple: building an intelligence layer that helps AI agents understand people across their digital footprints so they can act with deeper context, so these bots actually get us—not just our data.
