OpenAI has announced Space, a shared workspace inside ChatGPT where coworkers can collaborate. Pages, the firm's answer to Google Docs and Microsoft Word; and collaborative slides (PowerPoint rival) are also here.

OpenAI has revealed a new subscription plan dubbed the 'Pro 500.' It offers higher usage limits and "Ultrafast" computing for GPT-6 Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Notably, the plan carries a hefty price tag of $500 (around ₹47,960) per month.

You can now build your own app-like experiences within ChatGPT using the plugin extensions. OpenAI is rolling out a new Plugin Creator tool for building the same. Notably, ChatGPT Sites, the lightweight websites users can make with ChatGPT, can host these plugins.

OpenAI is now rolling out new tools called Codex Security Cloud, which can help developers secure their infrastructure. You can use the tools to scan entire GitHub repositories on demand or as per schedule. Codex will then investigate, remove the duplicates, and also prepare fixes in the cloud.

OpenAI has made its software engineering agent Codex more useful. Developers can now run Codex wherever they need it, be it on a computer, on a phone, or even in the cloud. The reusable development environments will help your tasks start more quickly, and offer teams a shared workspace.

OpenAI's new Private Intelligence is a way to have its AI tools keep your data private. Zero data retention with private safety processing⁠ creates automated safety reviews, without offering OpenAI personnel access to the underlying content.

OpenAI has announced Ultrafast, a premium tier for workloads where speed matters the most. It offers up to 8 times faster token generation (300 tokens per second) in Codex and up to 6 times faster in the API. You can use GPT‑6 Astra Ultrafast from today in the API, and in ChatGPT Work and Codex⁠ on Pro and Enterprise plans.

GPT‑6.1 Sol is available from today to all Business, Plus, Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Developers can also access it via OpenAI API as gpt-6.1-sol. Its standard API prices are $0.10 per million cached input tokens, $2 per million input tokens, and $10 per million output tokens.

GPT‑6.1 Sol, an upgrade to GPT‑6 Sol, has been announced today. It almost matches GPT‑6 Astra’s performance in agentic coding, professional work, and computer use at one-fifth of Astra’s token prices.

You can message/call Dots in ChatGPT on web, desktop, as well as mobile. They can also text you about questions, progress, or tasks that need your attention. To note, chats with your Dot do not count toward your ChatGPT usage limits.

Dots can do a variety of things like booking concert tickets for you. They are available to select users from today. Pro and Business Premium subscribers get access to one free Dot, and can pay to get more.

OpenAI has revealed a new product called Dots. Altman describes them as always-on and proactive AI agents. You can even name and customize your Dot.

And it begins. CEO Sam Altman took the stage first to announce ChatGPT now has 1.2 billion weekly users.

With AI agents being all the craze, OpenAI might introduce some today. They might be tied to the ChatGPT Pro plan. A subscription tier called ChatGPT Pro Max and a new model might also make a debut.
