OpenAI is jumping into the AI cloud game, taking on giants like Microsoft Azure and AWS.

CEO Sam Altman said they are looking at ways to offer their own AI cloud service, saying, "We're pretty sure the world is going to need a lot of 'AI cloud,' and we're excited to offer this."

Altman also made it clear they aren't asking for government-backed loans—he thinks taxpayers shouldn't foot the bill for private projects and suggests governments build their own public AI systems instead.
