Paytm just dropped a fresh update to its app, now packed with over 15 AI-powered features and a cleaner design.
The coolest bit? You can earn digital "Gold Coins" every time you pay through the app.
Plus, NRIs in 12 countries can now link their international numbers for UPI payments—making life easier if you're living abroad.
Other notable features of the updated app
The AI-first approach means your expenses get auto-categorized, balances are pulled from all your UPI-linked accounts, and you get personalized spending insights.
Privacy gets a boost too—you can hide specific transactions if you want.
There's also an improved QR scanner (works even in low light), easy bank detail autofill with "Magic Paste," quick payment search, downloadable UPI statements in Excel/PDF, and a Receive Money widget that allows professionals such as doctors, gym instructors, cab and auto drivers to receive payments directly from their mobile home screen without opening the app.
