Perplexity launches AI-powered Comet browser for Android

Perplexity launched its Comet browser today on Android, bringing AI-powered search and smart features straight to your phone.
After launching on desktop in July, Comet now lets you set it as your default search engine and use AI to answer questions or quickly summarize info from all your open tabs.

Comet comes with voice search, an ad blocker, and can even handle tasks like research or online shopping for you.
Perplexity is planning to add a conversational agent and password manager soon.
The Android launch follows strong demand from device makers, and the company says they're focused on keeping things secure as they roll out new features.
