Realme Narzo 50A Prime announced: Check features and price
Realme has announced another entry-level handset, called the Narzo 50A Prime, in Indonesia. The newly-introduced device follows the attributes of the Narzo 50 line-up. Though the handset looks similar to Realme C35 which was launched in India earlier this month, it gets a different chipset in the form of UNISOC T612 SoC. The Narzo 50A Prime is currently on sale in Indonesia.
- With the introduction of Narzo 50A Prime, Realme is putting efforts to expand its presence in the budget smartphone segment in growing markets like Indonesia.
- The handset is unlikely to arrive in India as it appears to be a slightly tweaked version of the C35 that was announced here recently.
- The Narzo 50A Prime takes on budget smartphones from Samsung, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
The Narzo 50A Prime has a waterdrop notch design with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a plastic body, noticeable bezels, and flat rails. The rear panel gets a rectangular camera module. The device has a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) LCD screen with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports up to 600-nits of peak brightness.
The Narzo 50A Prime has a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and a monochrome sensor. Up front, it has an 8MP (f/2.0) shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Narzo 50A Prime is fueled by an octa-core UNISOC T612 SoC processor and boots Android 11 with Realme UI R Edition. The phone packs 4GB of RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The storage is expandable up to 1TB. Under the hood, it has a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W charging via the USB Type-C port.
The Realme Narzo 50A Prime is priced at IDR 19,99,000 (nearly Rs. 10,700) for the 4GB/64GB model and IDR 21,99,000 (roughly Rs. 11,700) for the 4GB/128GB model. The phone is already on sale in Indonesia in Flash Black and Flash Blue color variants.
