Recycling sweat and urine aboard the ISS
Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla just made it to the International Space Station (ISS) with the Axiom-4 crew.
For the next 14 days, he'll be floating 400km above Earth, helping out with experiments on how humans adapt to space.
The ISS itself is a cool example of countries teaming up for science.
TL;DR
Life on the ISS
Life on the ISS is nothing like home—think freeze-dried meals, recycled water (yes, even from sweat and urine), and super-planned routines to keep everything running smoothly in zero gravity.
Solar panels power the station, and advanced tech keeps air and water safe so astronauts can focus on research—and maybe enjoy a window view or two.
