    Samsung will launch the Galaxy A12 model in India soon. In the latest development, 91mobiles has revealed the prices of the handset, claiming it will carry a starting price-tag of Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The report also claims that the prices will be effective starting today, suggesting that the Galaxy A12 can go official any moment now. Here's our roundup.

    Samsung Galaxy A12: Design and display

    The Galaxy A12 will have a waterdrop notch design, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will pack a quad camera setup. The smartphone will bear a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is likely to be offered in Blue, Black, White, and Red color options.

    Samsung Galaxy A12 will feature quad rear cameras

    The Galaxy A12 will sport a quad rear camera unit comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) main sensor, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. On the front, it will house an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.

    Samsung Galaxy A12 will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery

    The Galaxy A12 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It will boot Android 11-based One UI 3.0 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset will offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.

    Samsung Galaxy A12: Price and availability

    The Galaxy A12 will be launched in India later today or tomorrow. As per the report, it will cost Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant.
