Samsung set to unveil Android XR headset in September
Samsung is about to drop its first extended reality (XR) headset, called Project Moohan, on September 9.
Built with help from Google and Qualcomm, this device is Samsung's answer to Apple's Vision Pro.
It runs on Android XR and packs the Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 chip, so you'll get Play Store app support plus some fresh AI features.
TL;DR
Project Moohan will make its debut at the July Galaxy Unpacked event with teaser videos showing off what it can do.
The headset hits shelves in South Korea on October 13 before launching globally.
Samsung says it's working hard to make it lighter and last longer than rivals like Apple and Meta—but we're still waiting for details on pricing and its official name.
