Skywatchers: Nearly full moon to shine near Pleiades cluster tomorrow

Technology

Set your alarms early for November 6, 2025—a nearly full moon will shine close to the Pleiades star cluster just before dawn.
Look toward Taurus in the sky, and you'll spot the moon with the famous "Seven Sisters" cluster sitting about three finger-widths to its upper left.

Uranus will be hanging out 5 degrees to the lower left

Grab some 10x50 binoculars to catch all seven of the brightest Pleiades stars, like Merope and Alcyone.
If you're up for a challenge, Uranus will be hanging out five degrees to the lower left—hard to see without gear, but an 8-inch telescope can reveal it as a tiny blue dot.
