SpaceX completes its 145th mission of the year

Technology

SpaceX hit a new milestone by launching its 146th mission of the year on November 4, sending 29 more Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral.
Most of these launches—141 out of 146—used their reliable Falcon 9 rockets, while five were test flights for the bigger Starship.

Over 100 missions dedicated to Starlink

Over 100 missions this year focused just on growing the Starlink network, which now has over 8,800 satellites in space.
Thanks to this rapid expansion, Starlink internet is reaching more countries and bringing SpaceX closer to its goal of global coverage.

Fifth flight for this Falcon 9 booster

The Falcon 9 booster B1094 pulled off its fifth successful flight with this mission.
After liftoff, it landed smoothly on the droneship "Just Read the Instructions" only eight and a half minutes later—showing just how routine rocket reusability is becoming for SpaceX.
