Sugamya Bharat App gets user-friendly revamp
Sugamya Bharat App just got a major upgrade to make life easier for people with disabilities and older adults.
Now, there's an AI-powered chatbot for instant help, a smoother interface, and handy updates on government schemes—all aimed at making accessibility info more reachable.
Users can flag accessibility issues in public places
Users can quickly flag accessibility issues in public places by snapping a geo-tagged photo—think broken ramps or missing signage.
As of June 2025, the app has over 14,000 users and nearly 84,000 downloads.
Out of 2,700+ complaints submitted so far, about 1,900 have already been sorted out.
How is it different from other apps?
Unlike basic phone accessibility settings, this app is all about fixing real-world barriers across India.
With its new features and focus on community reporting, Sugamya Bharat is helping create a more inclusive environment—one step at a time.
