TECNO forays into India's mid-range segment with feature-rich Phantom X
TECNO has launched its most premium smartphone, the Phantom X, in India. The flagship handset boasts a curved AMOLED display, a 108MP Ultra-HD mode, a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, and a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast-charging. It is priced at Rs. 25,999 for its sole variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device will be available starting May 4 via Amazon.

The TECNO Phantom X sports a left-aligned pill-shaped cut-out and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. On the rear, it has a vertically-aligned triple camera arrangement along with an LED flash. The handset boasts a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) curved AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display.
The TECNO Phantom X is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 50MP main lens, a 13MP portrait snapper, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the handset has a 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.
The TECNO Phantom X is backed by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, mated with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It boots Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 on top and draws power from a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast-charging. For connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
The TECNO Phantom X will set you back by Rs. 25,000 for its single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will be up for grabs via Amazon starting May 4 in Summer Sunset and Iceland Blue colors.
