WhatsApp now lets you chat with other apps in Europe

WhatsApp is about to roll out an update for European users: soon, you'll be able to message friends on BirdyChat and Haiket right from WhatsApp.
This aims to make chatting across different apps much easier.

You can send texts, images, voice notes, videos, and files to BirdyChat and Haiket users from your Android or iPhone—no extra app needed.
Group chats with outside users are coming soon.
Everything stays end-to-end encrypted to keep your chats private and meet EU rules.
