Xbox full screen experience now on laptops, tablets, and more
Microsoft's Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) isn't just for handhelds anymore—you can now get that console-like vibe on your laptop, desktop, or tablet too.
The update is rolling out through the latest Windows Insider Preview Builds (Dev and Beta channels), plus it's available for Xbox Insider Program members.
FSE lets you browse and launch games with a controller in a full-screen interface, making PC gaming feel a lot more like using an Xbox.
How to try it out
Want to check it out? Just hit the Task View icon, tweak your Game Bar settings, or press Win + F11 to jump in—just make sure you have the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store installed first.
Heads up: not everyone will see this feature right away since Microsoft is rolling it out gradually.
And if you're into handheld gaming PCs, FSE is now supported there too for a smoother experience across all your devices.
