Xbox Game Pass introduces 3 new subscription tiers

Microsoft rolled out new Xbox Game Pass plans on October 1, 2025, aiming to give players more choice and better perks.
Core members are now Essential, Standard becomes Premium, and Ultimate gets extra goodies—all shaped by player feedback for a more personalized experience.

New rewards system

Ultimate now includes over 400 games (with more than 75 day-one releases like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7), Premium offers over 200 games including Diablo IV for $14.99/month, and Essential gives you unlimited cloud gaming with 50+ titles.
Plus, the new rewards system lets you earn Microsoft Store credits—up to $100 a year for Ultimate, $50 for Premium, and $25 for Essential—just by playing and making purchases.
