What's the story

India still have a 117-run lead against South Africa after a fascinating third day of the ongoing first Test match in Vizag. The Proteas rode on Dean Elgar's 160 and Quinton de Kock's 111 to post 385/8 at stumps on Day 3. For India, R Ashwin claimed 5/128. There were many records that were scripted. Here we look at the same.

India's Ravindra Jadeja became the fastest left-arm bowler to claim 200 wickets in the longest format. The all-rounder, who claimed 2/116, surpassed the likes of Rangana Herath, Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc and Wasim Akram in this illustrious list. Jadeja registered 200 Test wickets in just 44 matches and broke the record held by former Lankan ace Herath (47).
