VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid - 376 runs
In the 2001 India vs Australia Test at Eden Gardens, the hosts were asked to follow on after scoring 171 following Australia's 445. In the 3rd innings, India were 232/4 when Rahul Dravid walked in and joined VVS Laxman. They added a record 376 runs for the 5th wicket. Laxman managed 281 and Dravid got 180. India then claimed a 171-run win.

DB Vengsarkar and Sunil Gavaskar - 344* runsĀ
The 3rd Test of the 1978 Test series between India and West Indies was a drawn affair. As per ESPNcricinfo, India scored 300 in the 1st innings before WI managed 327. In the 3rd innings, Dilip Vengsarkar joined Sunil Gavaskar at 17/1 and then added 344* runs. Gavaskar hit 182* and Vengsarkar smashed an unbeaten 157. WI managed 197/9 to escape with a draw.

Rohit Sharma and R Ashwin - 280 runs
In November 2013, the 1st Test between India and West Indies at Eden Gardens saw the hosts win by an innings and 51 runs. West Indies scored 234 runs in the 1st innings before India scored 453. India were 156/6 when R Ashwin joined Rohit Sharma and the two added 280 runs. Rohit (177) and Ashwin (124) floored the Windies, who managed 168 thereafter.
