What's the story

Delhi and Mumbai are two teams that have failed to win yet in the ongoing season of IPL.

Mumbai Indians take on Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede in a crucial encounter.

MI's bowlers were top notch against SRH and Delhi's batsmen haven't quite got going.

If you are confused of what would be the best XI, here we help you select the right combination.

Skipper choice

Rohit pips Gambhir as the captain

Rohit Sharma is a better choice than Gautam Gambhir as the skipper, especially since MI's bowlers are in-form.

But one should go ahead with Gambhir as his opening partner.

Gambhir didn't bat in the previous game but should lead the proceedings in this tie.

Both Colin Munro and Evin Lewis haven't clicked yet, but it still might be wise to keep them in XI.

The middle-order

Pant as keeper, Maxi, Krunal in all-round list

Rishabh Pant is a risk but a good one, given that the other option is Ishan Kishan.

At number 5 it should be Aussie Glenn Maxwell.

He can not only set the batting alive, but comes handy as a spinner.

MI's Krunal Pandya could follow suit. Since Hardik's fitness is a factor, you should avoid him.

Glenn Maxwell can be made the vice-captain.

Bowling unit

Mayank Markande a must in Dream XI

Mayank Markande, remember the name. Debutant this season, he already has the Purple Cap.

One player that could give you a lot of points.

Along side him, one can select left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem, who impressed against Royals.

Jasprit Bumrah leads the pace bowling unit of this team.

Between pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Trent Boult, we would choose the latter.
