MI vs SRH: Head-to-head, Playing XI and other interesting stats

The last time these two sides played against each other in IPL 2018, SRH won a thriller. Will Tuesday's tie be as exciting? Both Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad come from defeats in their previous encounters, and this match has a lot of significance. The match number 23 of IPL 2018 is slated to be held at the Wankhede. Here is our pre-match report.

Head to head: Mumbai ahead at the Wankhede

Mumbai Indians will go into this tie with confidence, given their head-to-head record against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede. The two teams have met here thrice and Mumbai have a 100% win-record. Overall, it's 6-5 in favour of Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, since SRH had beat them earlier this season, Mumbai will be wary of the Williamson-led squad.

Both teams need to bat well

Both sides were unable to bat smartly in the middle-order in their previous matches against Royals and Super Kings respectively. Therefore, it will be vital for the middle-order batsmen to come out and apply themselves well.

    A tale of two captains

Kane Williamson has been in stellar form with the bat after having amassed 230 runs already. He can get hold of the Orange Cap on Tuesday. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has struggled and has just 138 runs out of which 94 runs came in a single match. In the five games played, MI have won just one, whereas SRH have won three.

    Probable Playing XI- Mumbai Indians

Suryakumar Yadav, Evin Lewis, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Rohit Sharma (captain), Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Mitchell McClenaghan, Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah and Mustafizur Rahman

    Probable Playing XI- Sunrisers Hyderabad

Ricky Bhui, Kane Williamson (captain), Manish Pandey, Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul and Billy Stanlake.
