The right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler, Faf du Plessis has been one of the most consistent batsmen in the South African cricket team. He is widely known for his impeccable defenses and loves to spend time at the crease.
After making his ODI debut in 2011, he proved to be an asset in the World Cup and continued his good form. He was also put in charge of the T20 side in February 2013.
