These Pakistan bowlers boast hat-tricks in T20I cricket
What's the story
Pakistan registered a massive 69-run victory over Zimbabwe in the fourth match of the T20I Tri-Series in Rawalpindi. The win was largely thanks to an impressive hat-trick by young off-spinner Usman Tariq. Set a target of 196 runs, Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 126 runs. The young bowler's fiery spell ended Zimbabwe's fightback and helped Pakistan prevail. On this note, we list down the Pakistan bowlers with hat-tricks in men's T20Is.

Usman Tariq vs Zimbabwe, 2025
Tariq was introduced in the 8th over of the aforementioned Rawalpindi affair. His second over saw him take a sensational hat-trick. It was also a triple-wicket maiden. He dismissed the likes of Tony Munyonga, Tashinga Musekiwa, and Wellington Masakadza in the 10th over as Zimbabwe were reduced to 60/7 from 59/4. They were eventually folded for 126. Tariq claimed one more wicket on the day to finish with 4/18 from four overs.

Mohammad Nawaz vs Afghanistan, 2025
Earlier this year, Mohammad Nawaz scripted an incredible hat-trick against Afghanistan in the UAE T20I Tri-Series final in Sharjah. The left-arm spinner, who was introduced in the sixth over, responded instantly by dismissing Darwish Rasooli and Azmatullah Omarzai for ducks on the over's last two balls. Nawaz removed Ibrahim Zadran (9) on the first ball of his next over, thereby completing his hat-trick. The spinner eventually claimed a fifer (5/19 from four overs) as Pakistan won by 75 runs.

Mohammad Hasnain vs Sri Lanka, 2019
In October 2019, Mohammad Hasnain became the youngest bowler to achieve a T20I hat-trick at 19 years and 183 days (only full-member teams). The speedster achieved this against Sri Lanka in Lahore, dismissing Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka, and Shehan Jayasuriya over two overs. Hasnain finished his spell with 3/37 from four overs. Despite his brilliant bowling display, Pakistan lost the match by 64 runs.

Faheem Ashraf was the first Pakistani cricketer to achieve a T20I hat-trick. It happened in October 2017 during a match against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi.
