Sandeep Sharma is a professional Indian cricket player who plays for Punjab at the domestic level. The right-arm medium pace bowler has played for India in the 2010 and 2012 Under-19 World Cups. The right-handed batsman was born on May 18, 1993, in Punjab. He gobbled up maximum wickets for Punjab in the 2012-2013 season of the Ranji Trophy. He finished the season as the fifth-highest wicket-taker. He also emerged as the highest wicket-taker for Punjab in the Vijay Hazare Trophy where he took 10 wickets from six matches. Sharma was signed by Kings XI Punjab before IPL 2013 and in 2018, he was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad. In IPL 2017, he claimed 3/22 from his four overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore team. In the process, he became the first-ever bowler to get the trio of AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, and Virat Kohli out in the same game. In July 2015, he made his debut in international cricket against Zimbabwe but failed to take any wicket in the first T20I match which India won.
