The Mule Kick is simple and involves nothing but putting forward the weaker foot first, letting opponents know that it is the one you would be using to play the ball.
However, it fools them, allowing the ball to reach the stronger foot to flick it for a pass or a kick.
Notably, it cannot be performed with the ball in possession.

It is a common kick that has been mastered by many.
The kick involves pushing the ball away, beyond the weaker foot and wrapping the stronger foot behind the weaker one to kick or pass it.

While it has been used by numerous footballers, it was made popular by Wayne Rooney.
