Star Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma is back at the UP Warriorz camp after being released ahead of the 2026 Women's Premier League (WPL) auction. At the mega auction, the Warriorz bought Deepti through the Right to Match (RTM) card. She had set her base price at ₹50 lakh. Delhi Capitals upped the bid to ₹3.2 crore before UPW used the RTM.

Deepti recently starred in India's title-winning ICC Women's ODI World Cup campaign. She scripted history by becoming the first cricketer, male or female, to score a half-century and take five wickets in a knock-out match of the Women's World Cup. The 27-year-old all-rounder scored a brilliant 58 runs and took five wickets for 39 runs in the final against South Africa.
