Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones review: Arguably the best under Rs. 30,000

The WH-1000X series of headphones from Sony have been incredibly popular over the years. I have had the good fortune of experiencing the Sony WH-1000XM4 for a considerable amount of time. It's been over two years since I reviewed it, and its successor has now arrived. Unlike smartphones, the XM4 is still available in India, and more importantly, still relevant courtesy of its excellent sound quality and category-defining active noise cancellation (ANC).

Blaupunkt 50QD7010 QLED TV review: Not bad; could've been better

QLED TVs seem to be gaining in popularity this festive season given the availability of several budget options. Just recently, we reviewed the Thomson Q55H1001 model and we now have one from the popular German brand Blaupunkt. While the brand licenses for both are held by Super Plastronics in India, and there are a few similarities as one would expect, there are enough differences between the two.

Realme Buds Air 3S review: Impressive feature set, bass-heavy sound

Realme already has far too many TWS earphones in the Indian market. They probably have half a dozen options under Rs. 3,000 itself. And I am not even talking about the ones from their sub-brand, Dizo. To be honest, half that number would have been good enough to have a stranglehold on the segment, and the other half just makes up the numbers anyway.

OnePlus Nord Watch review: Limited features but lots of finesse

The Nord sub-brand continues to grow. And by that I do not mean the excessive number of Nord phones released this year with multiple suffixes. From phones to earphones to now a fitness watch, the portfolio just got more interesting. The idea behind Nord was to have competent yet affordable products, and the Nord Watch that we have for review today adheres to that philosophy.

OPPO Enco Buds2 review: Nice balancing act with impressive results

There are times when it feels like it's a lot easier to come up with a flagship product than one on a much tighter budget. Don't get me wrong, both have their own individual challenges. While you can pack the flagship with everything you got, it's a fine balancing act with the entry-level product deciding what features to include and what to leave out in the given budget. Needless to say, the competition is often much stiffer at a lower price point.

Thomson Q55H1001 TV review: Value-for-money QLED TV with sharp picture

Not long ago, QLED TVs were quite expensive. Some even thought of them as an alternative to OLED TVs and were priced accordingly. In reality, they aren't very different from the usual LED TVs. In fact, they are pretty much LED TVs with an extra layer of quantum dot filter in the backlighting. Now with the technology getting affordable, many brands are looking to jump on to the bandwagon, and Thomson has recently done the same.

Realme Watch 3 Pro review: Impressive features, not-so-impressive battery backup

About this time last year we reviewed the Realme Watch 2 Pro which offered some interesting features like built-in GPS and a sizable display, among other things under Rs. 5,000. The company has looked to add more features to its successor while keeping the price constant.

JBL Endurance Race TWS review: A durable workout companion

JBL has a variety of true wireless (TWS) earphones in India that cater to different needs and budgets. The Endurance Race TWS buds are specifically meant for people with an active lifestyle who wouldn't want to use bad weather as an excuse to skip their daily run or workout. Such users demand products that can endure the elements and serve as a durable workout companion.

Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 earbuds review: It's a 'hole' new world

Not too long ago, we reviewed Sony's SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker, a first of its kind. The broad idea there was to stay connected with your work, entertainment and the world around you. The company has now brought a similar concept to TWS earbuds. Right from the design to engineering, the Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 strive to stand out from the crowd and deliver a different experience to the user.

Google Pixel 6a review: For camera performance and latest software

Google's Pixel phones have been the most desired devices for those who like pure Android experience, early OS updates and of course, great cameras. For some reason or the other, most of the Pixel smartphones never made it to the Indian shores through official channels. If I remember right, the last one released here was the 4a. And though the Pixel 6 did not bother to show up, the newly launched Google Pixel 6a has.

Amazfit GTS 4 Mini review: A compact, feature-rich fitness watch

Amazfit has been raising the bar in the affordable fitness watches category in India over the past few years. Their detailed companion app and battery life figures are still hard to beat in the category. We have closely analyzed three generations of their GTR and GTS series watches over the years, and while not perfect to begin with, the progress has been noticeable with every new release. Their fourth generation is upon us, and the teaser campaigns have already started.

OnePlus TV 50Y1S Pro review: A no-nonsense 4K smart TV

From the Q series, we moved to U and then to Y as OnePlus TVs started getting more affordable. In that sequence, the company has cut down on the frills to keep the price in check. That's not particularly a bad thing as the different series have managed to appeal to a broader audience. The Y series has typically been part of OnePlus' budget line-up of TVs, but with the Pro suffix, the specifications are a lot closer to the U series, which makes things more interesting.

OPPO Enco X2 review: Worthy successor to the Enco X

It has been well over a year and a half since OPPO launched its Enco X TWS earbuds in India. It was a category defining product that raised the performance bar in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment. While a couple of rival products managed to compete hard, neither could truly surpass it till date. Understandably, when the company announced its successor recently, there was a wave of excitement. What would OPPO's new flagship bring to the table this time?

Sony WI-C100 review: Wireless neckband that gets the basics right

Sony needs no introduction. It is synonymous with premium electronics products in India and generally operates in the upper mid-range to high-end segment. The budget wireless earphones category in India has been booming with bulk of the sales numbers coming from products priced under Rs. 2,000. If you divide the segment further, brands like Boat and Realme have a stranglehold in the sub-Rs. 1,500 range, while the likes of OnePlus have been doing well in the upper half.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 review: Basic fitness watch with calling

Noise has been active in the budget fitness watch segment for a while, though we haven't had the chance to test one from the brand before. A few days back their newly launched Noise ColorFit Pro 4 came our way and we thought of figuring out what all the noise was about. OK, I will avoid noise puns (as much as possible) in the remainder of this article.

OnePlus 10 Pro review: Not bad but could've been better

After reviewing the mid-range Nord 2T 5G last week, we now move to absolute flagship territory and take a look at the best that OnePlus has to offer currently. As expected, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a powerful phone that not only employs the fastest processing hardware around but also promises to deliver improved performance in other departments like camera and battery backup, courtesy of second generation Hasselblad cameras and higher capacity battery with faster charging, respectively.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G review: Nord 2 with minor upgrades

In many ways, Nord 2 has been the best all-round smartphone launched by OnePlus in the past 12 months or so. On either side of it, you either had some of their overpriced flagship phones or the under-powered Nord CE phones that also lacked a couple of key features. The Nord 2 had a great mix of features and performance under Rs. 30,000 and seemed to adhere to OnePlus' old business strategy of creating 'flagship killers'.

Boat Watch Primia review: Basic fitness watch with style quotient

Boat has been a major player in the budget wireless audio segment, capturing a huge chunk of the market courtesy of its wide range of wireless neckbands and TWS earbuds, among other things. The company has also been present in the fitness watches category, again offering basic and affordable options to potential buyers. They now seem keen to up their game in that segment with their latest offering.
