Image of 2022 Benelli 302R motorcycle surfaces ahead of launch

Italian automaker Benelli is expected to launch the 2022 version of its 302R motorcycle later this year. In the latest development, the design of the upcoming bike has been previewed in a new image. As per the picture, it will have vertically stacked headlights, aerodynamic fairings, and an updated paint job as well as graphics. Here are more details.
Design
The bike will sport aerodynamic fairings
The 2022 Benelli 302R will have an aggressive design, featuring a muscular fuel tank, a stepped-up seat, a side-mounted exhaust, fairings with air vents, a raised windscreen, and eye-catching dual-tone paintwork. The bike should pack a semi-digital instrument console, a halogen headlight, a LED taillamp, and ride on designer blacked-out alloy wheels. It will tip the scales at 182kg.

It will run on a 36hp, 300cc engine
The 2022 Benelli 302R will draw power from a Euro 5-compliant 300cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill should generate 36.5hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 26.5Nm.
Safety
Dual-channel ABS will ensure better handling
To ensure the safety of the rider, the 2022 Benelli 302R should be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS for improved handling. Suspension duties on the motorcycle should be taken care of by 41mm inverted telescopic forks on the front side and a swingarm with a central shock absorber on the rear.
