2022 Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail breaks cover: Check top features

Italian automaker Benelli has introduced the 2022 iteration of its Leoncino 800 Trail motorcycle for the global markets. As for the highlights, the bike has a retro-inspired look and gets a TFT instrument console as well as an all-LED setup for lighting. It draws power from a 754cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, four-stroke engine that generates a maximum power of 77hp.

The bike packs a full-LED setup for lighting, a TFT instrument cluster, and rides on spoked wheels shod in dual-purpose tires. It has a ground clearance of 180mm and tips the scales at 224kg.
The new Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail is powered by a 754cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, twin-cylinder engine linked to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The motor puts out a maximum power of 77hp and a peak torque of 66.43Nm.
In terms of safety equipment, the 2022 Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by 50mm inverted forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.
In the US, the 2022 Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail retro-style roadster sports a price-figure of $9,535 (roughly Rs. 7.18 lakh). However, the company is yet to announce whether the premium motorcycle will be introduced on our shores.
