Audi's Concept C hits the road with production-ready design
Audi just showed off its Concept C at the 2025 IAA Mobility Show, and this isn't your average concept car—it's actually out on public roads (with some tweaks like turn signals and wipers to keep things legal).
Powered by a rear electric motor, it hits up to 145km/h, which is way faster than most concept cars.
Audi says the production version is coming in 2027, with even more performance upgrades.
Concept C hints at future Porsche EVs
Built on a fresh platform shared with Volkswagen Group (and speculated to hint at future Porsche EVs), Concept C runs on rear-wheel drive and weighs about as much as an R8 V10 Spyder.
Its battery sits mid-car for better balance, and Audi's developing a beefier dual-motor Quattro version.
According to Audi's design chief Massimo Frascella, "the exterior design reflects '87%' of the final production look"—including an all-electric retractable hardtop.
With its bold looks and real-world performance, Concept C is shaping up to be a seriously exciting addition to Audi's lineup.
