Capricorn's Zagato hypercar is a manual-shifting beast
Capricorn just revealed its 01 Zagato hypercar at Salon Retromobile in Paris.
Designed by Italy's iconic Zagato studio, this mid-engine beast comes with a manual gearbox and a price tag of €2.95 million (about $3.5 million).
Only 19 will ever be built, with production kicking off in Germany in 2026.
It weighs under 1,200kg
Under the hood is a supercharged 5.2L V8 pushing out 900hp (888hp) and up to 1,000 Nm of torque—enough for a wild top speed of 360km/h and a blistering sub-3-second sprint from zero to hundred.
The car weighs under 1,200kg thanks to carbon fiber racing tech and even features switchgear milled from solid titanium and aluminum.
The car is cleared for roads across Europe and Japan
You get carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo and Bilstein EVO R suspension with modes for Comfort, Sport, or Track—so it's not just fast but adaptable too.
The car is cleared for roads across Europe, the UK, Japan, Canada and more.
Deliveries start later in 2026 from Capricorn's facilities—a nod to Zagato's heritage dating back to 1919.
