Harley-Davidson recalls 82,000 Softail bikes
Harley-Davidson is recalling about 82,000 Softail bikes from 2018-2024 because a small part near the rear shock could rub against the tire and cause a loss of air—definitely not something you want while riding.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration flagged this issue on June 12, 2023.
Here's the list of affected models
If you ride an FLDE (2018-19), FLHC (2018-21), FLHCS (2018-24), FLHCS ANV (2018, 2023), FXLRS (2020-24), FXLRST (2022-24), or FXRST (2022), your bike might be on the list.
Repairs are free at dealerships—just book an appointment for a quick bracket swap.
