Maruti Suzuki just had a strong October, selling 2,20,894 cars—a 7% boost from last year.
Domestic sales hit a record high, with significant growth in compact and utility vehicle segments.

Sales of compact cars like Baleno, Swift, and WagonR shot up to over 76K units.
Utility vehicles such as Brezza and Ertiga also saw solid growth, crossing 77K units sold.
Mini cars (think Alto and S-Presso) didn't do as well this time around.
Exports and OEM sales
Maruti shipped out over 31K vehicles overseas and sold nearly 9K units to other manufacturers.
All in all, the brand's popularity is holding strong both in India and abroad.
