Mercedes India issues voluntary recall over fire risk
Mercedes-Benz India is recalling 30 cars after spotting a possible issue with the fuse boxes—basically, the part that keeps your car's electrical systems safe.
If these are faulty, it could mess with how the car runs or even lead to a fire risk.
No accidents have happened so far, but Mercedes says they're taking action now to keep everyone safe.
TL;DR
Details of affected models
The recall covers 16 EQS electric cars made between July 2023 and April 2024, nine S-Class/Maybach S-Class (petrol) units from July 2023 to March 2024, three GLC-Class (petrol/diesel) from late last year, and two AMG SL (petrol) made last summer.
If you own one of these, Mercedes recommends getting it checked ASAP—they're committed to sorting this out for their customers' safety.
