Why does this story matter?

For the Carens, Kia Motors has received the highest first-day bookings since the brand's arrival in the Indian market. The car is likely to bear a starting price-figure of around Rs. 11 lakh and will undercut rivals like Hyundai ALCAZAR and Mahindra XUV700. The SUV is expected to attract customers looking for a 6- or 7-seater SUV below Rs. 15 lakh.

The car has a radiator grille and roof rails

The Kia Carens flaunts a muscular hood, sleek headlights with DRLs, a narrow chrome bar, and a chrome-surrounded radiator grille. On the sides, the SUV is flanked by roof rails, indicator-mounted ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and designer alloy wheels. A shark-fin antenna, a chrome trim on the bumper, a window wiper, and wrap-around LED taillights are available on the rear end of the car.
