Tesla opens its 1st Supercharger station in Gurugram
Tesla just dropped its very first Supercharger station in Gurugram, setting up shop at DLF Horizon Center.
This spot offers fast charging for Model Y owners. Plug in your Model Y and you can get up to 275km of range in just 15 minutes.
Fast charging tech and what it costs
The station runs on four V4 Superchargers (250kW each) plus three slower Destination Chargers.
Charging isn't free—Supercharging is about ₹24 per kWh, while Destination Charging comes to ₹14 per kWh.
If you're eyeing a Model Y, prices start at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-Delhi), with the long-range version at ₹67.89 lakh.
Why it matters for India's EV scene
This launch is a big step for Tesla's plans in India—they're building out more stations and making EV life easier with an app that shows charger status, helps you pay, and keeps tabs on your car while it charges.
The tech behind these chargers means less waiting around and more time on the road—something every EV driver can appreciate.
