TVR Griffith V8 Launch Edition is a retro-modern sports car
TVR is back with the Griffith V8 Launch Edition—a limited-run, old-school sports car with some modern twists.
Under the hood, it packs a 5.0-liter Ford V8 that puts out 500hp, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive.
It rockets from 0-97km/h in under four seconds and tops out at 322km/h.
The car has a power-to-weight ratio of 400hp/ton
The Griffith uses a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis designed by Gordon Murray, giving it an impressive 400hp per ton power-to-weight ratio.
Only 500 cars will be made, and you'll need to put down £5,000 to reserve one.
The company is also working on an all-electric version of the car
TVR isn't stopping here—they're already planning an all-electric Griffith that keeps the classic look but adds EV tech (even mimicking that V8 sound).
For safety, the current model features advanced chassis engineering plus airbags, ABS, and ESP—so you get vintage vibes without missing out on modern protection.
