Adani Group wants in on pilot training—here's what's up

Adani Group is looking to buy Flight Simulation Technique Centre (FSTC), one of India's top pilot training companies.
If the deal goes through, it'll be Adani's first big move into aviation training, adding to their growing aerospace business.
The acquisition would happen through Horizon Aero Solutions, a joint venture with Prime Aero.

Why does this matter?

With India expected to need 20,000 new pilots in the next decade and FSTC already running major simulator centers in cities like Gurugram and Mumbai, as well as flying schools in Haryana, Surat, and Solapur, this is a smart play for Adani.
They've already invested heavily in defense and aircraft maintenance—and picking up FSTC could position them strongly in India's growing aviation sector.
