Apple updates leadership team page with 3 new executives
What's the story
Apple has updated its leadership page, adding three new executive profiles: Jennifer Newstead, Molly Anderson, and Steve Lemay. Newstead is Apple's top lawyer and the company's Senior Vice President and General Counsel. She took over from Katherine Adams on March 1. Before joining Apple, Newstead was Meta's chief legal officer for six years.
Design leadership
Anderson is the new VP of Industrial Design
Anderson is the new Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple. She and her team are responsible for designing all Apple products, accessories, and their packaging. Anderson joined Apple in 2014 and has been heading the Industrial Design team since 2024. She takes over from Jony Ive and Evans Hankey among others.
Interface design
Lemay heads Human Interface Design team
Lemay is the new Vice President of Human Interface Design at Apple. He joined the company in 1999 and now heads the team that designs software for all of Apple's platforms. Lemay takes over from Alan Dye, who left Apple at the end of last year to head design for Meta's Reality Labs division.
Services expansion
Eddy Cue's title updated with new headshot
Along with the new executive profiles, Apple also updated Eddy Cue's title to Senior Vice President of Services and Health. The change comes with a new headshot for Cue. He got oversight of Apple's health and fitness teams after Jeff Williams retired last year. Cue is an Apple veteran who has been with the company since 1989.
