Avaada Group's ₹1 lakh crore push for clean energy by 2030

Business

Avaada Group just announced a huge ₹1 lakh crore investment over the next five years to supercharge its renewable energy game.
The goal? Grow their clean power capacity from 6.1GW now to 30GW, with new projects and bigger manufacturing plants coming up.
They're already building nearly 10GW more and plan to add another 4-5GW every year.

How they're making it happen

To fund all this, Avaada is mixing equity, debt, and their own earnings—similar to how they've worked with investors like PTT Thailand and Brookfield Renewable before.
Their big plans include a solar glass factory in Nagpur (ready in about a year), a ₹10,000 crore IPO for Avaada Electro in 2026, and hiring around 10,000 people over the next three years.
By focusing on both solar and wind—and building much of what they need themselves—they're aiming for steady growth while keeping control over their supply chain.
