Salesforce India posts big revenue jump, fueled by AI buzz

Business

Salesforce India just saw a huge 47% jump in revenue for FY24-25, reaching ₹13,384.5 crore ($1.49 billion).
The main driver? More companies are interested in using AI, though many are still careful about how much they invest and want to see real results from these tools.

Growing team and shifting focus

This year, Salesforce India added over 1,000 new employees—now topping 14,000 people—with more roles focused on AI and tech innovation.
Most of their growth came from banking and finance clients, but sectors like automotive, aviation, retail, and manufacturing also chipped in.
While the public sector has been slower to adopt Salesforce's products, Bhattacharya noted this sector has been slow to pick up due to a strong "inertia of rest."
