Tesla anticipates another quarterly delivery decline
Tesla's Q2 2025 delivery numbers are expected to drop by over 11% compared to last year, with analysts predicting around 394,380 vehicles.
This comes after a similar decline last quarter and is mostly due to production pauses for the new Model Y, less demand (partly linked to Elon Musk's political moves), and higher interest rates making cars pricier.
TL;DR
Tesla could still deliver over 1.5 million cars this year
Tesla is feeling the heat in China and Europe—its market share in China slipped from 10% to 7.6%, while sales in Europe fell nearly 28% in May as buyers look for more affordable EVs.
Even so, some analysts still believe Tesla could deliver over 1.5 million cars this year if it manages to ramp things up in the second half.
