The prayer meet for Dharmendra, titled Celebration of Life, will take place on Thursday (November 27) at Mumbai's Taj Lands End in Bandra. The event is scheduled to run from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. According to reports, acclaimed singer Sonu Nigam will perform songs associated with the late actor during the gathering.

Before the release of Ikkis, director Sriram Raghavan spoke to NDTV about working with Dharmendra. He said, "It was somewhat demanding, so he would often feel fatigued... And when the cameras started rolling, he was simply enchanting. He was extraordinary." The film also stars Nanda and is set to release on December 25, 2025.

Dharmendra, who was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India for the Bikaner constituency in Rajasthan from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a Padma Bhushan awardee, was cremated without state honors. Reports suggested that his funeral was expected to include a gun salute due to his contribution to Indian cinema. However, the Deol family decided against it. He is survived by his wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and children Sunny, Bobby, Vijeta, Ajeita, Esha, and Ahana.
