The Hindi spy action thriller, Dhurandhar, has reportedly set a new record for the highest-ever OTT rights sale for a Hindi film on Netflix. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, has reportedly sold its OTT rights for around ₹285 crore, surpassing the previous record held by Pushpa 2 with an estimated sale of nearly ₹275 crore. YouTuber-film critic Ravi Chaudhary shared the update recently. Earlier, reports suggested the film was sold for ₹130cr.

'Dhurandhar' continues to dominate box office
In addition to its record-breaking OTT deal, Dhurandhar is also performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film has reportedly achieved the highest second-week collection in Hindi cinema, surpassing the previous record held by Dangal. It has currently crossed ₹500cr in gross. It is a joint production by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, led by Aditya and Lokesh Dhar.

Dhurandhar boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film is the first part of a planned two-part series and follows a decade-long intelligence mission with an undercover Indian agent infiltrating Karachi's criminal and political underworld.
