Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is back in the headlines for possibly running for president someday.
In a recent Variety chat, he shared his love for acting but left the door open on politics, saying, "We'll see."
For now, though, he's not eyeing 2024—he wants to focus on family.

Polls show backing for Johnson

Turns out, a lot of people are interested: a 2021 poll found that 46% of Americans would support him if he ran.
As of August 2025, betting site Polymarket gives both Johnson and Kamala Harris a four percent shot at winning in 2028—while Gavin Newsom leads with 36%.
