Kesar Matharu is an Indian film director, producer, and writer known for films like ‘Hum Hain Pyar Mein,’ and the 2013 adult thriller titled ‘The Dirty Relation.’ He served as a director for both these films. ‘The Dirty Relation’ starred Matharu himself along with his daughter Jasleen Matharu. The film also starred actors like Sonia Mishra and Sanjay Chauhan. He has been involved with the Hindi film industry since the 1990s. In 2002, Matharu directed ‘Hum Hain Pyar Mein,’ which was also written by him. The film starred actors like Neelima Azeem, Goga Kapoor, Upasna Singh, Ram Asra, and Shakti Kapoor. The film gained him popularity as a filmmaker. He also directed ‘Pyasi Nighahen’ in 1990 and ‘Lafda’ in 1999. Matharu’s 2004 film ‘Sambandh: The Relation’ caught the audience’s attention but the film was not well received at the box office.
