Lakshya Lalwani reveals why he left TV for films
Lakshya Lalwani, known for TV hits like Porus and Warrior High, recently shared why he left his steady television career for films.
Chatting on Ranveer Allahbadia's YouTube channel in 2024, he remembered his dad pointing out that his daily TV earnings matched his father's whole monthly salary.
Still, as Porus wrapped up, Lakshya decided to step away from a ₹15,000-a-day job—giving up what was described as a potential ₹30 lakh per month income, as mentioned by producer Ramesh Taurani—to chase something bigger in movies.
Debut film and other projects
Lakshya debuted in Bollywood with Kill (produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment), starring alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala.
He also appeared in Aryan Khan's Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
These projects have helped him make a solid mark on the big screen—and show that sometimes taking a leap really does pay off.
