IIFA 2018: Rekha to return to stage after 21 years

This year's International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) just got bigger and better. The latest update, that has come in all the way from Bangkok, is that evergreen Rekha will be setting the stage on fire with her dazzling moves.
The last time she performed at an awards show was in 1997 where she danced to her superhit numbers 'Salaam-e-Ishq' and 'Dil Cheez Kya Hai'.

The 63-year-old actor wants her stage comeback to be perfect in every which way and is personally looking into all the details including the outfits.
Renowned celebrity designer Manish Malhotra has been roped in to design her clothes.
"Rekha ji will be performing age-appropriate dances, and she wants the outfits to complement the performance," a media report stated.

When asked about the songs she would be dancing on at the IIFA, she said, "I have a second name - mystery. If I tell you now, then what's the point?" We certainly cannot wait to watch her perform.

IIFA 2018 will have Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh as hosts.
Besides Rekha, other celebrities who are expected to give a power-packed performance are Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Iulia Vantur, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Bobby Deol.
'Padmaavat' star Shahid Kapoor was also supposed to enthrall the audience with his dance moves but had to pull out due to a back injury.
