What's the story

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally revealed why he couldn't be a part of the popular talk show Two Much, hosted by Twinkle Khanna and Kajol. The show was launched earlier this year and featured several big names, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Janhvi Kapoor. However, fans were disappointed not to see SRK on the show.

Reason revealed

SRK was busy with 'King' and nursing an injury

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Khan said he was busy shooting for his upcoming film King. He also revealed that he suffered from an arm injury during the shoot, which had temporarily halted production. "I am doing a film right now! I told her (Kajol). I was injured too," he said. "I felt really bad. I would have loved to have come on it except for the food-eating part, there was so much food to eat!"

Show appreciation

Khan's heartfelt apology and admiration for 'Two Much'

Khan also apologized to Khanna and Kajol for not being able to join them on their show. He said, "I am so sorry to you and to Twinkle, really." "Just to let you know, I have seen all of them. It is my penance that I wasn't on the show, so I watch all of it!" The show is currently streaming on Prime Video.

On-screen reunion

Khan and Kajol's recent reunion in London

Khan recently reunited with Kajol in London to unveil a bronze statue of their iconic pose from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The statue was unveiled at Leicester Square, marking a historic moment for Indian cinema. Khan expressed his excitement about this accomplishment and wrote on X, "Incredibly delighted that DDLJ is the first Indian film to be honored with a statue in the Scenes in the Square trail."

Upcoming project

Khan's next film, 'King' to release in 2026

Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film King, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Abhishek Bachchan. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and will be released in theaters in 2026. Meanwhile, Kajol was last seen in the JioHotstar series The Trial.
