The actor shared a video on Instagram, revealing that her new restaurant will be an "ode to my roots and comfort food that reminds me of home." The eatery will also serve all the Bastian favorites. In the caption, she wrote, "The doors are ready to open, the kitchen is buzzing, and Amma has officially said YES." "Yes, we are ready, Shetty, go!! We're finally opening on December 19 (Friday) from 11am to 1am. Walk right in no reservations."

An FIR was registered against the restaurant co-founded by Shetty Kundra for allegedly operating past legal closing hours, and then a few days later, the Income Tax Department raided the outlet. On the other hand, Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra also face a ₹60 crore fraud case, with the EOW recently charging them with cheating and criminal breach of trust. The couple responded to these allegations, saying, "We categorically deny the baseless and motivated allegations being circulated."
